Reminder requests

The form on a model page can store an email address, the model name, the page path, the consent sentence, the time, and a hash of the IP address. The purpose is a price-drop reminder request. The form does not send email and does not start a newsletter. If the database is not connected, the request is not stored and the page says so.

Cloudflare Turnstile runs on that form to reject automated submissions. The secret key stays in the Cloudflare Pages secret TURNSTILE_SECRET. It is not in the site code.

Contact mail

The contact page opens your own email program addressed to [email protected]. That page does not receive or store the message.

Cookies and logs

The site does not set an analytics cookie and does not run advertising scripts. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, may keep standard request logs. Amazon’s own site may set cookies if you follow a search link.
